When it comes to choosing a suitable CRM solution, businesses are faced with having to compare the options available on the market with their own requirements. To make this research easier, the CRM Excellence Test features different providers and solutions in a benchmark test, which includes Camelot ITLab with SAP C/4HANA.

Business Consultant Stephan Bauriedel and the German software testing specialists Gesellschaft zur Prüfung von Software mbH (GPS) published the latest CRM Excellence Test 2019 recently. Every four years, the format provides an independent, detailed overview of the performance of leading CRM systems, and thus represents a tried-and-tested instrument for selecting suitable software. CRM systems are standardized and impartially compared, based on the Best Practice processes developed by Stephan Bauriedel and GPS.

Camelot ITLab and SAP C/4HANA put to the test

Camelot ITLab positioned itself as an expert for SAP C/4HANA, SAP’s CRM solution. The solution performed particularly well in the “Sales”, “Integration” and “International” areas. The judges were impressed by its appointment management, on-site appointments, telephone calls and service acceptance in the test, with values of over 90% within the scope of the defined standard processes. Integration with SAP Jam, its extensive functions and the possibility to integrate it simply into existing SAP landscapes and third-party systems were regarded as the main strengths.

Camelot ITLab was chosen to be a relevant SAP partner for the study by Stephan Bauriedel on account of its expertise in the customer experience area. Camelot’s expertise doesn’t just go beyond Customer Experience – from sales and service to marketing – it also covers the entire value chain with related SAP solutions and appropriate process expertise.

Market trend: Demands on CRM systems are increasing

A future scenario is at the heart of the benchmark test, which is intended to illustrate business requirements and the high standard expected in today’s world. During the highly structured test, which ran continuously for approx. ten hours, and the subsequent evaluation, it became apparent that the systems had improved enormously in terms of their range of functions, operability and technology compared to the first CRM Excellence Test in 2007. “CRM has developed from just a tool, into a mature business application. The systems have the required flexibility to adapt to individual needs as part of customizing”, said Business Consultant and CRM expert Stephan Bauriedel in a press release.
