Digitalization and Economy 4.0 have long since ceased to be issues of the future and are now in full swing. During the Vienna Congress “Digitalization and Economy 4.0” in the past weeks, various experts extensively reported on and discussed digitalization from various perspectives. A quick review:

Digitalization represents a paradigm shift that brings with it numerous opportunities and risks for companies. Digital transformation always encompasses a wide variety of dimensions: Culture, organization, understanding of roles, processes, information and systems (CORPIS), which have to be developed individually for each company. CAMELOT’s CORPIS approach, which covers all these dimensions, enables a structured approach to digital transformation within companies or divisions.

For the digital transformation of the controlling division in particular, CORPIS is a sensible. In an interactive session, we showed the participants of the Vienna Congress just how important transformation is for controlling departments. In our talk “Digitalization as Driver of Controlling Transformation” we invited the professional audience to a critical self-reflection on the basis of the current individual situation of their companies. In addition, we were excited to be able to provide participants with concrete recommendations for their individual controlling transformation.

The Vienna Congress was definitely a highlight. The participants were not only rewarded with plenty of useful content, but also the opportunity to interact with experts and other participants. We would like to thank Akademie 3 for organizing things so superbly and look forward to seeing them again soon.
