In our last blog post, we showed you that you can also use Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa for SAP’s Sales Cloud and what options Alexa provides in your day-to-day business. A lot has happened since then. We have improved our Skill through numerous tests and enhancements.

In this blog post, we would like to present our extended Camelot C/4HANA Skill. It is based on the sales application already introduced, but contains several new features.

Why is our Camelot C/4HANA Skill the optimal solution for field staff?

Our Alexa Skill is connected to the SAP Sales Cloud and allows field staff to manage their visits in SAP C/4HANA from anywhere, and at anytime. With our Alexa Skill, you no longer have to log in to SAP C/4HANA via your browser or use the app on your smartphone. You can complete your usual sales tasks simply by talking to Alexa. Field staff can also use our Camelot C/4HANA Skill easily while traveling to and from the customer as the automotive industry, too, has already recognized the potential of Amazon Alexa. Major car manufacturers like BMW have already integrated Alexa into their new cars. At the same time, Amazon has introduced “Echo Auto,” a solution that allows Alexa to be used in any vehicle.

What new features does our Skill offer?

Using our Skill, it is not only possible to create visits and visit memos, but visits can now also be queried and follow-up activities can be created for visits. In addition, you can pause while dictating your notes, and do not need to tell Alexa your text all at once.

To see how this is done, take a look at our demo video. It shows examples of how sales staff can manage their visits in the future using our Alexa Skill.
